13 positive FMD samples among animals at Gramatikovo village
Positive FMD (foot-and-mouth disease) blood sample results have been reported in the village of Gramatikovo, Malko Tarnovo Municipality. The disease was found in a cow and 12 other ruminant animals.
That is what the National Veterinary Medical Service announced. There is presence of antibodies in the samples that the veterinary workers take for second time from the animals in the risky area due to the 20-day incubation period of the disease. So far some 1100 samples have been analyzed only 13 of which are positive.
The village is located in Malko Tarnovo municipality and enters in the 10-km protecting area around the first two centers of the disease.
